Modern Design


Hazel Brae is a Victorian cottage which has been recently modernised and refurbished throughout. This well equipped cottage offers comfort in contemporary styling.

Hay-On-Wye


Situated in the quiet hamlet of Cusop, Hazelbrae also has the advantage of being just a short walk from the popular market town of Hay on Wye, famous for its second hand book shops.

Rural Location


Being at the foothills of the black mountains and on the river wye, this location will offer a wide range of activities. From hill walking, horse riding to canoeing, or simply chilling amidst stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Luxury Self-catering Accommodation

The accommodation provides a well equipped spacious modern oak kitchen with all the necessities. Large Range style cooker with gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

The dining room has seating for six. The table, chairs and dresser are in matching pale oak.

The living room has two comfy matching sofas, freeview tv/dvd and cd player.
There is gas central heating throughout but this room also has a woodburning stove for those cosy nights by the fire.
One sofa converts into a bed should anyone require ground floor accommodation.
The downstairs shower and toilet may also be useful for guests with such requirements.

2 spacious king size bedrooms, tastefully decorated and both with wardrobes.

1 smaller twin bedroom, ideal for children but would also accommodate adults if neccessary.

All towels and bed linen are included.

Outside
The kitchen leads out to a patio court, which is safely fenced for children and pets.
There is a picnic bench and bbq.
To the side of the cottage is a parking space for one or two cars, with additional parking in front of the property.

Wooden steps lead to a tier of lawn and plants, and a graveled area with washing line.
A further set of stone steps leads to an elevated lawned area enjoying views of the surrounding countryside.

  • Up to two well behaved dogs welcome, but not upstairs or on furniture.

Hazel Brae is located within easy reach of The Golden Valley, Wye Valley on the edge of The Brecon Beacons National Park and Herefordshire Border Country. Enjoy the many pubs, restaurants, bistro's and cafes, browse the famous second hand bookshops and explore the various antique and boutiques in this quaint little market town.
